VOLK – Approaching Polaris

Volks debut album Approaching Polaris is an eight-part slowsynth suite that soundtracks a doomed expedition to the North Star and back. Drawing from the cosmic grandeur of Vangelis, John Keating, and Jean-Michel Jarre, the Scottish outfit crafts a retro-futurist concept album steeped in vintage synth tones and space-age melancholy. It’s a transportive listen cinematic, eerie, and vast in scope. White vinyl LP on Gasworks. Edition of 100 copies.

Opened to display sleeve.
