Underground hip-hop legend Warcloud, formerly known as The Holocaust, is set torelease a boundary-pushing album, PinkyViolence, in collaboration with the genre-blending duo Wakizashi Jabberwockyz.Infused with sukeban, a rebellious, female-ledsubculture from Japan, Pinky Violence promises an explosive mix of gritty hip-hop,Japanese exploitation film influences, and ataste of cosmic horror.

Warcloud, renowned for his 2006 self-titled LP produced by Blue Sky Black Death, takes his rugged storytelling to new heights alongside Wakizashi Jabberwockyz. Formed nearly a decade ago, Wakizashi Jabberwockyz consists of Okami Ghosthack (aka OMEGAH RED) and 7Rinth (aka Zen Studentz), who initially worked on an unreleased debut, Nekojiru’zApartment. Thanks to veteran A&R M-Eighty,the duo connected with Warcloud, setting thestage for the creation of Pinky Violence.

Named after a Japanese film genre celebrated for its strong female anti-heroes, PinkyViolence brings cultural homage and intense energy. “Bitchesand guns go together like Oreos and milk,” says OkamiGhosthack, summarizing the album’s unapologetic approach.

The albums singles include Pomeranian, produced by Godfingaz and inspired by Noboru Iguchis Ghost Squad (2018); Wan Shi Tong by Lord Beatjitzu, with a cosmic horror-inspired hook by Ghosthacks creative writing cousin; and the title track, produced by Spearman, featuring Killah Priest and Tracksuit Draculaz.

Critical Praise:
With his flow, an unrelenting juggernaut of grim, medievalimagery, Holocaust [Warcloud] follows the lead of other Wuaffiliates like Killah Priest and Shabazz the Disciple. –AllMusic
