Condition

Here’s a fascinating piece of Elvis history that doesn’t surface often – the 1977 Canadian RCA Victor pressing of The King’s seminal debut album. This reissue appeared during what would tragically become Elvis’s final year, making it a poignant reminder of how his revolutionary 1956 debut continued to resonate two decades later. While American collectors typically chase the original Sun Sessions material or the coveted first RCA pressings, this Canadian variant offers something different entirely – RCA Victor Canada’s pressing plants were known for their exceptional quality control during this era, often producing cleaner, quieter surfaces than their American counterparts.
