Triple vinyl LP pressing. Following the success of our compilations looking at early electronica in the UK (Close To The Noise Floor), Europe (Noise Reduction System) and North America (Third Noise Principle) we present a compendium of hand-picked highlights. Including legendary names such as Conny Plank and Holger Czukay (Les Vampyrettes), D. A. F., Bourbonese Qualk, The Legendary Pink Dots, Front 242, Carlos Peron, The Residents, Rhythm And Noise, Richard Bone and Tuxedomoon alongside cult favorites and previously overlooked nuggets, Additive Noise Function takes in dancefloor fillers, inner space explorations and everything in between as it journeys over five thousand miles in search of the perfect drum pattern. Previous CD editions have been critically praised around the world, and acclaimed for their historical significance as well as the diverse, futuristic and ground-breaking music contained within. Demand for a vinyl overview has been continuous, and we proudly present thirty-two must-hear, must-have tunes showcasing the other side of the post-punk revolution.
